Event Showcase - Dandelion Wishes Foundation
Every year the Victoria Racing Club hosts it’s annual Young Members Ball, always an exceptional occasion with it’s over the top, larger than life event styling. This year was no exception with a surreal enchanted forest at the core of it’s theme that over took Crown’s Palladium for the night.
Circuses are magical and jaw dropping, especially for children.
The Room Look
The walk in impact was a huge consideration for this event. Circuses are magical and jaw dropping, especially for children. Every wall within Palladium was draped in big chunky red and white panne stripe to soften the space and create the illusion of being inside a circus tent.
The Table Setting
Black chair covers and table covers were used to allow the centrepiece design as well as the room look and ceiling installation to be the key features highlighted in the event space. The centrepiece was a popcorn stand carton filled with white carnations to create the look of popcorn with fresh florals. Such a fun and innovative idea if you ask us!
The Ceiling Installation
This was our favourite part (obviously!) of the entire event look. Our glass organza ceiling drapes were used in red and white over the entire venue space to create the look of the big top tent you would typically see when the circus comes to town. The sheen of our organza gave it a more refined and sophisticated feel that it needed for an event of this calibre and size.
This couldn’t have been designed better in our opinion, it looks and feels like a big over the top circus and were so happy to find out that Dandelion Wishes raised $800,000 for children in need. If you have an event coming up that needs our attention, let us know ~ we’d be more than happy to help you create a Pinterest worthy event!
